Hole Considerations
Bathroom Lavatory Faucet Hole Configurations
Your lavatory faucets will determine the number of holes, if any, drilled into the vanity top or countertop. Be sure to select a lavatory that is predrilled with the correct number of holes (zero, one or three) to accommodate your faucet choice.
Bathroom Lavatories With No Faucet Holes
Several under-mount and vessel lavatories do not have faucet holes. The faucet in these cases is mounted on the wall or the countertop.
Bathroom Lavatories With One Faucet Hole
These lavatories come with one hole to accommodate single-handle faucets.
Bathroom Lavatories With Centerset Faucet Holes
Featuring three holes within a 4” span, these lavatories are designed for a centerset faucet. Centerset faucets are two-handle faucets in one piece.
Bathroom Lavatories With Widespread Faucet Holes
With three holes 8” to 16” inches apart, these lavatories are designed for a widespread faucet. Three separate pieces–a spout and two handles–make up a widespread faucet.
